I'm not quite sure how I've managed it, but I seem to have messed up my 17 month old. She comes to me with her arms up wanting to be picked up and says, "Down! Down!"
No amount of repeating, "Up" is doing any good. She just keeps insisting she wants down.
It started witha the high chair. When she is done, she says, "Down." Somehow, she has associated the resulting action of being picked up in order to be put down with the word down.
So now what?
